শত বছরের সরকারি প্রফুল্ল চন্দ্র কলেজ, বাগেরহাট। সরকারি পি.সি. কলেজ বাংলাদেশের খুলনা বিভাগের বাগেরহাট জেলার সব থেকে পুরাতন ঐতিহ্যবাহী আচার্য্য প্রফুল্লচন্দ্র মহাবিদ্যালয় যা বর্তমানে বাগেরহাট সরকারি পিসি কলেজ নামে পরিচিত। পীর খানজাহান আলী'র পূন্যভূমি বাগেরহাট-এ আচার্য্য প্রফুল্ল চন্দ্র রায়'র নেতৃত্বে স্থানীয় খলিফাতাবাদ ও হাবেলী পরগনার জমিদার, সাধারণ মানুষ ও বিদ্যোৎসাহী ব্যক্তিগণ “বাগেরহাট কলেজ”-এর ভিত্তি রচনা করলেন</ ১৯১৬ ১৯১৮ খ্রীঃ কালক্রমে ১৯১৮ খ্রীঃ ০৯আগষ্ট “প্রফুল্ল চন্দ্র কলেজ” নামে কলিকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এ প্রতিষ্ঠানের স্বীকৃতি দান করেন। আচার্য্য প্রফুল্ল চন্দ্র রায়'র অনুরোধে ঋষি কামাখ্যাচরণ নাগ এ কলেজের অধ্যক্ষের দায়িত্বভার গ্রহণ করেন। প্রায় বাইশ বছর যাবৎ তিনি অধ্যক্ষের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। তাঁর ছিল অসাধারণ পান্ডিত্য। ইংরেজী, বাংলা, সংস্কৃত, পদার্থবিজ্ঞান, গণিত, অর্থনীতি, ইতিহাস, দর্শন, প্রভৃতি বিষয়ে তিনি তাৎণিকভাবে শ্রেণী পাঠদান করতে পারতেন। কলেজের গঠনকালে গভার্নিং বডির সদস্যদের সাথে নিজে দ্বারে দ্বারে ঘুরে অর্থ সংগ্রহ করতেন। ১৯২৪ খ্রীঃ ইংরেজী, গনিত,
